🧠 Brand Identity: The Creation of the Logo

This project is a good example of the highs and lows of pushing ideas through iteration. I wanted the mark to capture the essence of yarn and knitting needles, but my early concepts were too literal and overworked. As I kept refining, the thicker yarn-like letterforms started taking on unintended shapes—at times looking like teeth, then butts, even awkwardly like fingers.

To reset, I returned to my original sketchbook explorations. That's where the swooping, connected M's began to take shape. By blending their playful curves with a chunkier, textured feel, I arrived at the final version that captured the handmade character I was aiming for.
